Help us welcome John Napier to the Automated Aquatics team! 🌊

We are thrilled to announce that John Napier will be joining us as our new Education Specialist starting May 1st.

With over 30 years in the industry—ranging from his early days as a lifeguard in Northern Alberta to serving as Technical Director with AARFP—John brings a wealth of knowledge in pool systems, water chemistry, and leadership. He has spent over 10+ years as an AARFP Pool Operator Level 1 & 2 Instructor teaching and connecting with others in the industry.

“I’m looking forward to joining a team that is clearly passionate and committed to excellence,” says John. “I’m excited to contribute where I can and be part of doing fantastic things with water.”

When he’s not talking filtration or water balance, John is likely enjoying life in Water Valley with his wife Wendi, their kids, and their two dogs. He’s also a fan of vintage VWs and the great outdoors.

👋 Meet the Team – Mark

Mark is one of the hands-on problem solvers behind the scenes in our shop. His primary role is diagnosing, repairing, and testing equipment that comes through our doors — from chlorine gas equipment and underwater vacuums to swimsuit dryers and pump rebuilds. He also assists with controller wiring to help keep systems running smoothly.

Beyond this, Mark supports warehouse operations by helping package and prepare orders to keep projects moving on schedule.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Mark mountain biking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter, staying active and outdoors.
