Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃🌾
There is always so much to be grateful and thankful for! We are so blessed to be living this life! Hope you all were able to reflect on the year and find something to be Thankful for! We are so grateful for our family, friends and fellow producers. We’re grateful for our momma cows putting in the work this past year and weaning off our heaviest group of steer calves. We’re grateful to have enough feed in the yard to feed the herd this winter. We’re thankful that we celebrated Thanksgiving around a table full of family and good food. 🍁🍂

Busy Busy Fall 🍂🌾
It’s been a hectic fall, putting up the last of our Greenfeed & 2nd cut, Shipping our heaviest group to date of steer calves at the end of September, Bringing cows home, New water pad/4H pen, the start of harvest. Doesn’t seem to matter what way you spin your head there’s always something to be doing, a project that needs started, some half done that need finished. The hustle and bustle before ❄️Winter❄️. There is moisture in the forecast for the weekend, hoping for good weather to round out October so we can get the rest of the crop into the bin. Hope everyone else has had a great fall ride this far!

It’s been a really busy, beautiful summer. This spring we were in quite a position, desperately praying for rain, once the 2nd week of June hit it seemed our prayers were answered and we received adequate amount of rain to keep the crops and pastures growing. We’ve enjoyed lots of time with friends and family, in the garden, making hay and checking cows. The girls always putting in the true work to grow our calf crop into the calves they are. Our hearts are full and we are so blessed as we start to slowing transition into this next season, still a bit more hay to put up, our Greenfeed crop is slowly making its way into the bale yard and we’re getting ready to start pulling out harvest equipment. We hope everyone else has enjoyed these summer months and are looking forward to the fall season ☀️🐮🚜

We were quite excited to see our Custom Jensen Silver Buckle we sponsored for the Yellowhead 4H District Show & Sale. It turned out better than I imagined! I’ll post my design mock up I drew to give them an idea of what I was looking for it’s too funny!
