To help us get ready for a busy August Long Weekend, our grill will be shut down for scheduled maintenance beginning at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28.

During this time, we will still be serving:

Today we had the honour of welcoming 15 motorcycles to Pam’s Chip Hut as they rode in memory of their friend, Chip.

Stopping at Pam’s Chip Hut was a fitting tribute, as Elk Lake was always one of Chip’s favourite stops on his motorcycle journeys. It was heartwarming to see friends come together to celebrate his life, sharing stories, laughter, and memories along the way.

Our visitors travelled all the way from Rouyn, Quebec, making their way through Kirkland Lake and Matachewan before stopping in Elk Lake for lunch and some sweet treats. After their visit, they continued on to Englehart before making the journey back home to Quebec.

Thank you all for choosing to stop in and spend part of your ride with us. It was an absolute pleasure to have you, and we hope to see you again on another adventure. Ride safe, and thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such a meaningful day. ❤️🏍️

Today was a little extra special here at Pam’s Chip Hut!🏍️❤️

We had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful group who stopped in to celebrate the life of Wesley Falardeau during their big motorcycle ride. With just under 20 motorcycles and 6 support vehicles, they made their way from Timmins through the watershed before stopping at Pam’s Chip Hut for a well-deserved lunch (and of course, some sweet treats!🍔🍟🍦). From here, they continued on to Englehart before making the final stretch back home to Timmins.

What made the day even more special was hearing that some of our guests had travelled from as far as Eastern Canada, Southern Ontario, and of course the Timmins area. It was fantastic meeting everyone and sharing a small part of your journey.

Thank you all for choosing Pam’s Chip Hut as one of your stops. You were an absolute pleasure to have, and we hope the rest of your ride was safe and memorable.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! From the delicious food to the amazing company, it was a day we’ll never forget.

A very special thank you to Vulturesque for putting on such a fantastic live performance. Your music made the celebration even more memorable, and we loved having you on our front deck!

To everyone who joined us—and especially those who travelled to Elk Lake just to spend Canada Day with us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to be part of such an amazing community.

Finally, a very special thank you to our incredible staff. Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond before, during, and after the event made today possible. We are so lucky to have such an amazing team, and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.
