RUCKUS 2026 – September 19 🎶

Our second act of the day takes the stage at 3:15 PM — please welcome The McFrys!

While the band name may be new, these faces are no strangers to Rural Roots. Ty has entertained our crowd for years as part of Mojo Minefield, and now he’s joining forces with his better half, Meghan, for an exciting new musical chapter.

We’re thrilled to host the Rural Roots debut of this talented husband-and-wife duo. With their natural chemistry, strong vocals, and love of live music, The McFrys are the perfect addition to this year’s lineup.

Once the boil is complete and the wort has been transferred, it’s time to remove the spent grain. This grain has already done its job, providing the sugars that become the beer in your glass. It’s one of the less glamorous parts of brewing, but an essential step in turning simple ingredients into great beer.

Together we raised $6,300 for Saving South Paws!

Saving South Paws helps rescue dogs across the GTA and their northern partners with vet care, food, and supplies. They raise awareness for adoption, support local rescues, and give dogs a second chance at the good life.

Huge thanks to all of you for supporting through our golf tournaments, Threads for Change, and our 7th Rural Roots Birthday.

Special shoutout to Alan - for organizing and running the golf tournament that raised the most. You’re the best, Alan.
