4 year old daines cow knocked it outta the park with the bull calf she brought home this fall. Sired by WXW Big Trail, this mid February calf weaned at 856 lbs on grass all summer and the last 20 days on the barley regrowth

SELLS OCTOBER 17 AT THE MASTERPIECE SALE
She's been a eye catcher out in the pasture all summer so it wasn't a shock when Mark Forsyth came to tour the herd he picked her out for Castlerock Marketing ( Shane Castle ) Masterpiece sale. With a pedigree packed with programs that focus on maternal strength and quality. Her dam, a G cow, purchased from Darren Steinley always has a calf at the top of the herd every fall, while 405's sire stems from the great Trefiak family at MJT Cattle Co. (Hereford & Angus) . Unfortunately, only using him for 2 breeding seasons due to an injury, he left me with some great animals to keep around. To top off this beautiful female she is bred up to WXW BIG TRAIL that I brought up from Colorado Walter Angus . He has proven himself with great sets of heifer calves every year while still producing bulls that top the pen every spring.
