Today we share news that comes with a full heart.
After an incredible journey, we have made the difficult decision to close Waterside Beverage Company.
From the very beginning, this place was built on a dream — a farm, a vineyard, a winery, a tasting room, and a restaurant where people could gather, laugh, celebrate, and slow down together. What we never could have imagined was the community that would grow around it. You showed up for us in every season — sunny patio afternoons, rainy harvest days, busy events, quiet tastings, and everything in between.
Running a farm and vineyard is an adventure in every sense of the word. There were challenges we never saw coming and lessons we never expected to learn. Through it all, we were surrounded by some of the most incredible people — our staff, friends, neighbours, and of course our loyal customers who became part of the Waterside story.
We are deeply grateful for every glass raised, every celebration shared, every conversation across the bar, and every bit of support along the way. You helped turn hard work into memories we will carry forever.
As this chapter comes to a close, we’re reminded of how important it is to spend time with the people we love most. Stepping away from the winery will allow us to slow down and focus on family and the moments that matter. But!! Just because we are stepping away doesn't mean there aren't great things happening and coming soon!! We have more announcements coming, so don't go anywhere! You're going to want to hear alllll about it! It's exciting!!
