Today I noticed the incredible framework of a poppy pod! Delicate but strong. It looks like lace but holds like flying buttresses. 🤩🤩

9 Days Old!

These lilac stems were cut from the tree 9 days ago. And they even sat on top of my wood stove for an hour after I built a fire on a rainy day and forgot to move them first. They wilted a little but popped back up in an hour or so when they cooled off. 😬 🔥

The ranunculus are killin’ it this year!! Huge buds. Long, strong stems.
