Raising and caring for our animals has been passed down from generation to generation for over 50 years. Our ancestors were farmers from Ireland and came to Canada for the hope of a better life. They started a Farmstead along the Otonabee River. Bruce Sargent Sr. began farming Jerseys in the early 1900’s and handed the farm down to his son Carl, who passed on the love of Jerseys to his son Tim. Th

e farm is run by Tim & Sharyn and their children. Our Family is excited to offer bottled milk, pasture butter and an assortment of cheese and curds from our Single Farm Reserve Milk. You can now enjoy the same fresh tasting milk our family has loved for decades. For your enjoyment; taste, quality, health & nutrition are at the heart of all our products. Each is made with farm fresh milk in our food grade facility. Milk is pasteurized and packaged the same day it’s made allowing us to deliver it immediately, going from farm to table within days. Find our farm fresh products in your favorite grocery store and farm markets. We also offer online ordering for weekly home delivery for your convenience.

It’s momma Sarg’s birthday!

The one who keeps an eye on everything, makes sure we’re all where we’re supposed to be, and somehow always knows what’s going on. 😄

From the farm to the dairy and everywhere in between, we’re grateful for everything she does behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly.

Wishing Mom a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead! ❤️🎂

☀️ The weather is warming up… don’t forget the cooler and ice! 🧊🥛

Our glass bottles and fresh dairy products are best kept cold on the ride home — especially on those sunny spring and summer days.

Ice packs are available for purchase in-store to help keep your milk, cheese, and goodies nice and cool while you travel. 🚗❄️

Because fresh milk deserves to stay fresh. 💙

🥛 Before “high protein” and ultra-filtered milk were trends… there was our cheese milk.

At the dairy, we were making 5%+ (whole) milk first.
Rich, creamy whole milk that’s perfect for drinking, coffee, baking — and of course, cheese making. 🧀

Our cheese milk is non-homogenized, which means the cream naturally rises to the top and forms that thick cream layer so many people remember from years ago. Nothing stripped away, nothing over-processed — just real milk the way it’s meant to be.

Minimally processed, naturally rich, and as close to farm fresh and legally available in Canada as you can get. 🇨🇦🐄

And no — you do not need to boil it.
Our milk is already pasteurized, so all that’s left to do is pour yourself a glass and enjoy. 🥛✨

Shake it up or scoop the cream off the top… either way, you’ll taste the difference.

☕🥛 Warning: our Coffee Milk has been known to disappear quickly from the fridge… 👀

There’s peace in watching the expecting girls wander into spring. 🌾
Not every beautiful thing needs to be rushed.

Yesterday the dry cows headed back out to pasture. These girls are our expecting mothers — currently enjoying a well-earned break from the milking herd before welcoming the next generation.

Every cow receives a minimum 2–3 month vacation, sometimes even longer, to rest, graze, and prepare for calving. There’s something special about watching them soak up the sunshine, fresh grass, and slower pace of the season.

While they enjoy pasture life, we get the privilege of watching the future of our herd grow one calf at a time. 🤎
