End of April updates.
Lambs are growing fast out in the pasture with their moms, and bottle babies are on track to be weaned soon. Both of Ruby’s kid’s entropions have been corrected, and Honey finally gave us two beautiful kids. The sun is starting to shine, and the greenhouse is full of life.
Busy season is kicking off and now we’ll be trying to keep up with transplants, escapees, and hopefully piglets in the near future!

Sorry for the mess.
But we'd be lying if we said our house didn't usually look like this.
A hypothermic lamb seated in front of a space heater under Aura's watchful eye, laying on a blanket that was probably peed on. The week old bottle baby lamb being held back by the baby gate. The dewalt tools sitting on the floor from the ongoing renovation in the opposite corner. Tinfoil on out plants so the cats don't dig in the soil. Dishes from lunch left out because something came up. The heated blankets, microwaveable rice bag, and thermometer, each patiently waiting for their time to shine.
We've learned to embrace the chaos.. the evidence of a full life being lived.
So come on over, grab a beer, and watch your step.
