We found ourselves in need of another farm stand so last week I responded to a Market Place add for the stand shown in the photo. When we arrived to pick it up we met a young man and his dad that build things to sell. The young man is learning to build and work with wood and earning a bit of money at the same time. I was so happy to pay for this new farm stand and support his work. Not to worry, our other farm stand will be used in a new location!!

I have the beginnings of a fall meat pack rolling around in my head and will include staples such as ground beef, chicken breast, steaks and likely a beef roast. Let me know what chicken and beef staples you will need this fall! Will hit the $125 budget for a small pack and $250 budget for a large pack!!

Only 1 week to go! The Erin Farmers Market opens next Thursday June 18th at the Erin Fall Fair - Erin Agricultural Society . We look forward to seeing you all very soon. As always, we accept preorders to market and will have our coolers full of our own chicken, beef, eggs and hopefully even some asparagus for the first date or two. See you there!
