Calehill Farm Fresh

10/13/2026

If you stopped in at the farm shop over the past couple of months, at some point I likely bragged about how hard Travis and Cam have been working on their 4H steers. This past Sunday all that hard work paid off as they exhibited Nugget and TBone at the . The steers did great and the boys leared a lot this year. They started his spring with completely unhalter broke calves, put in the time and made it to the fair!!

We found ourselves in need of another farm stand so last week I responded to a Market Place add for the stand shown in the photo. When we arrived to pick it up we met a young man and his dad that build things to sell. The young man is learning to build and work with wood and earning a bit of money at the same time. I was so happy to pay for this new farm stand and support his work. Not to worry, our other farm stand will be used in a new location!!
