🌾 Harvest has been an interesting one this year, hasn’t it?

Through all the “on again, off again” harvest progress, our Teams have been finding ways to show a little extra appreciation for the Members working hard to get this year’s crop off.

This week we had another Harvest Tailgate Bag delivered out to the fields from the Alameda Team where they stopped in to see the Rae Wright crew — it’s our way of saying thank you for the long days, late nights and hard work that come with this time of year.

And since harvest is stretching a little later, we know producers across the southeast are making the most of every opportunity to get back in the field.

We’re proud to be out there feeding and supporting our local farmers along the way. ❤️🌾

🍎 Helping fuel learning at Carlyle Elementary School! ❤️

Southern Plains Co-op is proud to continue our support for the Carlyle Elementary School Nutrition Program with a donation of $4,000 in Co-op Gift Cards to help keep healthy food available for local students.

Each school day, the program provides breakfast, snacks and lunch at little to no cost, helping ensure students have access to nutritious food so they can focus on learning, growing and simply being kids.

The program also helps reduce barriers for families, encourages healthy choices and creates opportunities for volunteers and the school community to get involved.

Programs like this are only possible through the dedication of volunteers, the School Community Council, community partners and ongoing donations — and we're proud to play a small part in helping it continue. ❤️

🚨Mark your calendars! 🚨 As the Estevan area gears up for the 50th United Way Telethon, we're hosting our annual 𝙁𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝙐𝙋 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙖𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙮 on Tuesday Oct 13th. If you stop any either one of our Estevan Gas Bars that day, we'll donate 10c per litre to the United Way. All funds raised stay local in supporting multiple agencies and groups in our community and we'll present our donation live during the telethon!
