Good start to the week… back to the grind. Spent sometime on the lawn playing Uno with maya and the chickens, made a yummy dinner, went for a bike ride, watered the garden and put the birds to bed.

💔 I'm posting this with a heavy heart...😔
As much as I love my animals, all good things come to an end. They take up too much of my time and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics such as cleaning and maintaining my home, so something has to give. Therefore, I will be re-homing the following. 😥
Please don't ask any questions or negative comments, as I can't handle talking about it.

Vacation recap:
Activated & Appreciated! ✨

This week was the perfect soul-recharge! From the adrenaline of the gun range 🎯 and teaching a class 👩‍🏫 to the peace of much-needed naps 😴 and cleaning up the house 🧹.

Spent my days helping family, playing with my chickens 🐔, and soaking up all the puppy snuggles 🐶.

Highlights included a beautiful beach date 🏖️, a sweet afternoon with my dad and Lily, and—my absolute favorite—quality time with my hunny ❤️.

Heart is full! back to reality now. 🏠✨

Calling All Hatching Experts! 🐣

I need your best incubator tips!

I’m gearing up to try my hand at hatching some eggs, and I want to make sure I do everything right! Ive tried already and failed 😞 BUT I’m putting my big girl boots on again and going to try again!

I’ve got my incubator ready, but I know there are a million little tricks to getting a perfect hatch.

If you’ve used an incubator before, I would love to hear your advice!

Specifically, I am wondering:

Temperature & Humidity: I know it's supposed to hover around 99.5°F, but how do you keep the humidity perfectly dialed in—especially during those final lockdown days?

Turning: Do you use an auto-turner, or do you prefer to hand-turn (and what's your trick for remembering to do it?)

Candling: What day is your absolute favorite for candling to see if the embryos are growing? - this has really got me stumped!

The Hatch: The hardest part—having the patience to leave the incubator closed once they start pipping! I’m thinking duck tape!

Drop your best beginner-friendly advice, horror stories, or "I wish I knew this my first time" tips in the comments!

Any and all advice is welcome!!

My oh MAY what a beautiful month! Spending Mother’s Day together, enjoying budding flowers, new arrivals, fun with friend and some sad goodbyes. A full month of balance!

Can wait to see what June has in store!!
