What a Wonderful Day! ☀️

I spent my morning on the road delivering our goods to different people, and it couldn’t have gone better!

First stop was Michael and Jeanette at Lewis Family Chiropractic in Fonthill — thank you so much for supporting our small business and for sharing our products with your clients. We appreciate you! Paula welcomes me each time!

Next, I stopped at DeVries Fruit Farm in Fenwick, where our honey is now on their shelves! 🐝 Such wonderful people working there, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a few groceries while I was at it.

Then it was off to Sweet Thoughts in Ridgeville to chat with owner Bobbi and my friend Jess, who were a tag team in the chocolate-dipping action today. I picked up our chocolates for the Christmas baskets (and managed not to treat myself this time — trying to be good!). 🍫

Next stop was at the Canboro Fill & Chill in Fenwick now serving fresh-brewed Fenwick Coffee Roasters coffee and local goodies from DeVries.

And lastly, I dropped both my kids off at The Farmer’s Daughter’s Flower Shack to help Rachel with some prepping for the coming months. Thank you for keeping them busy and giving them something fun to do on this rainy day!

All in all, it was an awesome day filled with good conversations, familiar faces, and new connections. Can’t complain about my work life one bit! 💛

🍯 Why Our Raw Local Honey Costs a Little More 🍯

We often get asked why raw, local honey is priced a bit higher than the big store brands — and it’s a great question!

When you buy from a small, local beekeeper, you’re not just buying honey — you’re supporting a family business that puts heart and hard work into every jar. ❤️

🐝 We care for our bees right here on our property, making sure they’re healthy, happy, and thriving.
🔧 Beekeeping equipment is costly, and maintaining hives takes year-round attention — it’s truly a labour of love.
🍯 Every jar, label, and batch is handled by us — not by machines or massive factories.
⏰ The time, effort, and care that go into producing pure, raw honey simply can’t be rushed.

All those little details add up, but they ensure you’re getting a quality, local product that’s natural, unprocessed, and made with love.

When you support small businesses like ours, you’re helping keep bees buzzing, communities thriving, and traditions alive. 🐝💛

We want your flower pots!

We are collecting the black pots that can be repurposed for Christmas Planters!

Our Christmas planters are made fresh on our little farm and affordably priced. Reusing pots helps to keep the cost down (typically ranges from $25-$35).

If you’re dropping by to pick up honey or to leave pumpkins, consider bringing the Mums too!

✨🍪 We have to give a huge shoutout to an amazing cookie artist! 🍪✨

Her hand-painted cookies are truly works of art — every detail is perfection, and they taste just as good as they look! Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, and completely customizable for any occasion.

It’s rare to find this level of talent and care in every single cookie. Supporting small businesses like hers means supporting creativity, passion, and pure deliciousness. 💛

Checking on our bees without opening the hives! We use an infrared heat gun with a thermal camera to spot where the cluster is inside. This helps up make sure they’re doing okay - especially in the winter - without letting the cold in! 🥶
