Watch live alpaca shearing, meet 40+ alpacas, explore farm education stations including a hands-on Fleece Journey table.

It was a rainy day Fibre Festival today! A huge THANK YOU to the FFF crew on doing their absolute best to keep everyone safe. Kudos to the intrepid vendors and the amazing visitors who braved today's intense weather. 🌧🌪
We had to shut down early as the winds got dangerously high...a disappointment to be sure, but not much we can do when Mother Nature has other plans.
Now we are home and drying out our lovely alpaca stuff...we'll need to replace a few labels due to wetness, but alpaca is a very hardy fibre, so all our products will be just fine!
Stay tuned for a before and after of our fluffy alpaca stuffies that took the brunt of the wind and rain 🙃
p.s. while we love bringing our alpacas to this event, we left them home today...it just wouldn't have been fair to them

We like to halter train our alpacas at a young age. This encourages them to trust us, and makes handling safer for everybody:)

We’re open for alpaca tours, even with winter in full swing! We’ve collected about 1½ feet of snow, but don’t worry—we’ve cleared the parking area and a walking path to help you get around. That said, the pasture can be a little… adventurous, so solid footing isn’t guaranteed. Please dress for the season—winter boots ✅, flip flops ❌ (the alpacas will judge you).
winter likes to keep us guessing, conditions change daily. When you reserve a time slot, you won’t be charged until we confirm conditions are safe and tour-ready. Come enjoy some snowy farm fun with our fluffy crew! 🦙❄️

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to one of our kindest and oldest alpacas. Sugar daddy never failed to put a smile on your face, from his goofy name to striking looks. He was a great friend and leader to all his alpaca buddies; never one to pick a fight, but they knew better than to get between him and his breakfast!
We will miss you sugar daddy🤍🤍🤍
