A few more snippets of some incredible summer dishes! We’ve been busy with back to back events and private catering - but also still soaking in these last few weeks of summer.

These mornings have definitely felt cooler, which already has my mind shifting to cozier dishes filled with fall harvest vegetables! Hard to believe September is just around the corner!

Stuck on what to do with a head of cabbage? Give grilling a try.

A few minutes over the grill transforms cabbage into something completely different. The leaves soften, the edges caramelize, and you get a subtle smoky flavour while it still keeps a bit of its crunch.

From there, it's all about the toppings.

We finished ours with a Caesar-inspired dressing made with egg, mustard, red wine vinegar, lemon, fresh herbs, anchovies (capers work well too), and a generous shower of freshly grated Parmesan.

Simple ingredients, a hot grill, and a fresh take on a classic vegetable!
