Spruce Spring Stream Farms

Jeremy Grassick and Rebecca Vaughan are owners of Spruce Spring Stream Farms which was established in 2014. It is beautifully landscaped property which makes it perfect for weddings and special occasions. It has been an organic practising farm for decades so the soil is pure gold. We get our water for our vegetables from springs that come down from Mt Proctor. We compost our own chicken manure for

soil fertilization and use methods of crop rotation, cover crops, and compost tea to get the right microbes in our soil. No pesticides, herbicides or insecticides ever touch our plants. The seeds that are not saved from the year before are bought from West Coast Seeds. An organic and non GMO seed company. We grow a lot of cold hardy and heirloom plants. We strive to give you excellent quality and outstanding flavour from all our produce. We have barred plymoth rock chickens that produce big and brown beautiful eggs. And of course eat scrapes from the garden all day. We have many plans for the farm. We are putting in a small orchard and our greenhouse, "The Boss" will be up and running for spring 2016. We also added 450ft of vegetable beds and will be harvesting produce from that in 2015.
