Forestedge Farm Naturally Better Beef. Naturally raising Black Angus cross cattle to produce meat that is healthy! Our animals spend their days on grass, not feedlot muck.

Here at Forestedge we believe that raising beef the old fashioned way is the best way. No growth hormones, antibiotics, pesticide spray or other "production enhancement" products are used. We can't claim the beef as "organic" but that is what we strive for. This method of raising beef makes the meat flavourful and, we believe, healthier! Our beef eat hay and grass off of our farm, then are "finish

ed" for 3 months with a twice a day grain ration to increase the fat marbling (and flavour) in the meat. This is not to be confused with the heavy grain feeding of feedlots trying to pack weight on their beef, our grain feeding is just enough to enhance the flavour in the meat.
