๐ I ๐๐ป DID ๐๐ป THAT ๐๐ป ๐
Three Weeks.
It took three whole weeks for me to plant our entire new summer garden. Everything is now in the ground with the exception of our sunflowers, which will be planted in successions over the next couple weeks.
It was three weeks of 5 AM mornings and super late nights, ridiculous amounts of sweat, a seemingly endless supply of tears, aching bones, exhaustion, questioning my entire life choices, bug bites, sunburns, and dirt. SO much dirt. I planted over 13,000 seedlings and tubers into the ground, which is quite literally insane ๐คฏ๐ฑ๐๐ช
To be honest, if I had known how much work it would beโฆ I probably wouldnโt have made this garden so big. But honestly Iโm glad I did. Those quiet mornings by myself out in the garden were exhausting and incredibly stressful but did give me a sense of purpose and productivity.
Now we wait to be rewardedโฆ and see it all in full bloom ๐ธ
Thanks to everyone for their patience, understanding, support, words of encouragement, and all of the uplifting that was done (especially from my farmer friends who understand the struggle and were my shoulder to lean on all this time). Thanks to everyone who wiped up my tears, told me I could do it even when my doubts were screaming at me, and offered their help even when I know they had lots of their own stuff to do. I LOVE YOU ALL. SO MUCH.
All I have to say now is see you soonโฆ hopefully with a million buckets of beautiful blooms ๐๐ซถ๐ป๐ฑ
