🌲✨ An Important Schedule Update 🌲✨

First, thank you all so much for the overwhelming love, kindness, and support you’ve shown us since our last announcement! Stepping into this next chapter means the world to us, and seeing your excitement has shown us the importance of growth.

As we have gone through August, we have (very quickly) begun to run out of everything that makes up our menu, and to navigate this transition without incurring any more unnecessary costs, we need to push our last day of regular service to Saturday, August 26th.

While this brings our regular dining room service to a close a little earlier than originally planned, it allows us the necessary time behind the scenes to prep 114 Main St. for upcoming events, get ready for the Flin Flon Bombers season in the Whitney Lounge, and seamlessly transition into our full focus on catering, weddings, and ticketed dining experiences.

If you’ve been hoping to pop in for one last regular meal with us, we have openings this Friday & Saturday, and, of course, next Wednesday.

A correction has been made on validity window due to a kind customer enlightening us on specific MB Consumer Laws 🤍

As we step into our exciting new chapter of curated events, private hosting, catering, and pop-ups, we want to make sure you have all the details on how to use your balance!
All outstanding gift certificates remain valid and can be redeemed across any of our services.
Here is what you need to know about using your balances moving forward:

✨ Validity Window:
All gift certificates will remain valid, with no set expiry date.

🍽️ Where You Can Use Them:
- Until September 5th, use them during regular bistro service
- Tickets for our curated dining events (twice monthly, weekends)
- Private event rentals & food balances
- Off-site catering & wedding packages
- Purchases at our pop-up trailer
- Cake or other dessert orders

📌 Guidelines & Policy Reminders:
NO STACKING: Gift certificates cannot be "stacked." This means a limit of one gift certificate per booking, event ticket order, or other transaction. (You may not split bills to stack.)
NON-REFUNDABLE: Gift certificates carry no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.

If you want to apply your gift certificate toward an upcoming event ticket or private booking, simply include this detail in your booking email, and we’ll get you set up.

🌲A New Chapter for Aurora + Pine🌲
To our community, friends, and guests near and far,

When the three of us first shared Aurora + Pine with the world, we began an amazing and unforgettable adventure. From small pop-ups in 2022, to the grand opening of our restaurant by the end of the year, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and of course has come with its fair share of challenges.
With our lives constantly shifting, great loss, growth, and an entire uprooting during evacuation, we’ve been looking toward the future of A+P, and how we all want to see it flourish. This required us to take a step back and reflect on where we’ve been, where we’re heading, and how we can best serve you while continuing to prioritize the care of ourselves & keeping our own cups full.
We knew it was time for a change.

With that, we are excited to share that Aurora + Pine is evolving into its next stage. ✨
Focusing on our Events, Catering & Weddings services, we will be transforming 114 Main St. into our event space, and ceasing Wednesday-Saturday restaurant service. This will take shape on our last service date of September 5th, 2026.
It may sound spooky, but we aren’t going anywhere just yet. This shift just allows us to step out from behind the line and out into the world. 🌎

Here is what our next chapter looks like:

✨Special Event Dining: We are leaning into structured, ticketed, and immersive dining experiences you’ve come to love. Think back to the magic of our Harry Potter nights and the celebration of New Year’s Eve. These are intimate, carefully crafted, multi-course dining experiences designed to create core memories. Our events will run twice a month, on consecutive weekends, Friday & Saturday. (September dates TBA)

🏡 Private Events at 114 Main + Whitney Lounge: We want our space to be the backdrop for your gatherings! You can rent our location(s) for private functions, and we will handle all of the details, delivering a completely intimate dining experience tailored specifically for you and your loved ones.

💍 Weddings: Continue to book Full Wedding Planning, Decor Rentals, Decorating, Month-to-month planning, or Day-Of Coordination for life's big moments. From intimate gatherings, to large weddings and grand celebrations, we bring the special Aurora + Pine touch to your day.

🏒 The Whitney Forum Lounge: Bomber season is right around the corner! We’re bringing the beloved mozza sticks along with our top notch bartending energy to the lounge to cheer on the Flin Flon Bombers with all of you.

🌮 Catering & Pop-Ups: Buffet or plated catering service continues, and we feel ready to expand our availability to meet more of your needs! Bookings are now open for Fall 2026, think of us for any of your special occasions!
P.S - We recently picked up some new gear (A lovely little food trailer!) & will be popping up around Flin Flon, Creighton, and Denare Beach (maybe even The Pas? 🧐). We’ll be serving up fun, delicious eats, think loaded sammies, tacos, dawgs, and whatever else the summer sun calls for. (Coming Summer 2027)

This pivot isn't the closing of a door, but rather an opening window, letting the fresh air in. Thank you to all that continue walking this path with us, and encouraging us to grow.
We can't wait to step into this new chapter, to keep growing with one another, and gathering with all of you.

🎶 SUMMER SERENADES 🎶

Local artists are back to perform at A+P's patio for the remainder of the summer season! ☀
Beginning THIS THURSDAY, July 23rd. Indicate on reservations that you'd like patio seating, or walk-in as seating becomes available!

❣ Please remember that requests will be honored as received, with our intimate, 5-table seating outdoors limiting the number of reservations taken
❣ Rain or shine, we will move inside if required!
❣ Performers will play 30-minute, up to 1.5 hour sets, beginning around 6pm

We're looking forward to hosting your next visit for dinner and a show 🎻

We're so happy to announce that The Summertime Serenade is back, at Aurora + Pine Bistro!!

That's right, one could even say;

"We're going back to Cali, Cali, Cali" ~LL Cool J, probably

"Look who's back, back again
Kelsie's back, tell a friend" ~Eminem, Allegedly

"Now, this looks like a job for Ainslie
So Everybody, just follow me" ~Eminem, possibly

We realize that we might be terrible at coming up with classic Rap lyrics; to fit the owners of Aurora + Pine, Cali, Kelsie, and Ainslie's names into, but luckily we have some amazing local musicians to help entertain you instead!

Serenades will start around 6:00 PM, on Thursdays at the Bistro.

First up will be one of our favourites, Derek Kemp. Derek will start the Season this Thursday, July 23rd.

Please come out and support our local musicians, and as always enjoy the great atmosphere and delicious food of Aurora + Pine!

🍻 BEER GARDENS 🍻
We are hosting Urban Trendz's 10th anniversary beer gardens today!
They are a pillar of the local business community, and we're honoured to host them as they celebrate their success with us all.
🚨A few things to note
- There is a $5 cover charge at the door, and it is CASH ONLY! Please come prepared. The Asian Market is open to the public, you will not pay a cover charge to shop there ⭐️
- Drink Tickets (among all of Urban Trendz wonderful raffles) will be sold INSIDE the bistro, no ordering of food or drinks here, & no table service! Think traditional beer gardens.
- Food & Beverage orders will be taken at the food trailer ONLY, with servers cruising around with beer buckets in case anyone needs a refreshment 🍺
- There will be yard games & music playing, so come enjoy the vibes!

There is sidewalk construction happening in front of our building that may give the illusion that we are closed, but we assure you that ourselves (and the rest of our Main Street business) are operating as normal!
