Turn out our local fox family out-foxed me. I won't show pictures but it was pretty sad. The surviving hens are traumatized but will recover. Fortress chicken now has additional security features.

Hens not loving the wind. Most of them are hiding in the coop and only came out to see if I brought some treats.

Now that spring has arrived, sort of, I will start posting more frequently. The hens are happier. We dug out a winters worth of bedding in the coop. The hens are checking it out. Sadly no picture tonight but will start tomorrow.

I will be in town tomorrow with eggs so let me know if you need/want any.
