From growing to greenhouses, kombucha and composting. Join us at Roaring Rapids Hall for the Local Foods Open House on Saturday, February 17th, from 10 am-4 pm. Visit information booths and try samples of local food from noon to 2 pm. Door prizes.

The fall market was amazing!! We have such a lovely group of vendors and volunteers in our beautiful, tight-knit community 🥰 I was too busy baking goodies and making lattes to post earlier, but if you missed out on sourdough bread, cinnamon buns or biscotti you can send me a message and we can work out future orders!

Happy Sunday, it's a beautiful day for the first farmers market of the summer in Fort Smith!

I'll be at the Desnedé farmers market at Mission Park (beside the big church) this afternoon from 1-3 with bread, biscotti, PB cookies, iced coffee, iced chai, and fresh raspberry lemonade 🍋🧊

No microgreens this week, but I'm ready to share the exciting news... We have a NEW LOCATION for the homestead!! Hope to see everyone for a visit at 71 Tamarac soon!

What's in your bread?

My sourdough has simple ingredients: whole wheat and white flour, water, salt, and my wild starter. I brush it with a bit of coconut oil to get that golden crust, sometimes I use butter instead if it's for a customer with coconut allergy. Sure it's less healthy when I stuff it with cheese and herbs, but it is delicious!

It's hailed as providing a myriad of gut health benefits, but as the cost of living rises, switching to a standard loaf of white bread might not be the worst diet move you can make.
