Sweet Apple Ranch at Clawbonnie

Sweet Apple Ranch at  Clawbonnie Horses, bunnies, goats and our purebred Akita pups for family enjoyment. We hope to restore much of the property as it was back then.

The Clawbonnie was built in 1930 and was known throughout the years by local residents as an apple orchard.

My uncle Ray raised me after my parents died in a crash when I was four, an accident that also left me unable to walk. When the state considered foster care, he stepped in without hesitation.
“I’m taking her,” he told them. “She’s my niece.”
For twenty-two years, Ray was my whole world. He adapted his life around mine, pushed my wheelchair everywhere, and always made me feel seen and loved.
When he became ill, his health declined quickly, and he eventually passed away under hospice care.
Three days after his funeral, our neighbor gave me an envelope he had left behind. Inside was a letter in his handwriting that began with: “I’ve been lying to you your whole life. The accident that took your parents… there’s more to the story, and you deserve the truth.” (Check first in all comments👇)
