Selling on Consignment:

Arnie,
Grey, Gypsy Cob X Gelding, born 2018 (8 YO) 14.1 H.H.
Little horse with a big work ethic! He has a very fast walk and is happiest out moving, checking or sorting cattle. Arnie neck reins, collects, and moves very well off your leg. Stands well to be mounted. Best suited for an experienced rider, he is a bold, forward mover and prefers a rider who is in contact and actively driving. He truthfully loves having a purpose and having cows in front of him, put him to work and he will give you 100%. Covers ground with ease, pushes through any brush, mud or water. Arnie has been exposed to lots of things and takes to new thing quickly. His ideal rider would be a confident young adult heading to work at a feedlot or Ranch, High school rodeo, team penning or heel/ break away roping.
- Balanced build, beautiful wither and holds a saddle well!
-Good with his feet, stands well for Ferrier. Has been shod in the past but goes bare foot well.
-Started at 5yo but has a good work resume! Feedlot, Ranching and Trail/Beach Riding.
-Excellent ground manners, will side pass over to you at fence or mounting block if needed.
-Riding fence lines and exposed to lots of wildlife.
-Not cinchy, doesn’t require lunging or round penning. Saddle cold and go.
-Exposed to Machinery, ATV’s, Kids, Bikes, Traffic, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens. Leads off a side by side very well!
-Has rode English and Western.
-Has recently started roping calves and is very comfortable with a rope being swung and around his legs.
-Baths, Trailers and Ties well.
-Easy to catch and saddle. Good with days off.
-Zero Buck.
-Not a kids horse at this time but a confident teen could do well with him.
