Loads of fresh picked goodies .
We got tons of cucumbers and pickles still being picked from our fields with a brand new field just starting... We should have lots of them till as late as Thanksgiving if all goes well...
Corn has been 1 of the most challenging seasons for us. That being said we are finally starting to get into some really nice n good n sweet corn. (Between drought, pollination, massive bear damage and worm issues this year it's been a real challenge.) From here on out we are getting into our better fields and it looks and tastes amazing as it should.
We expect to be picking corn till atleast thanks giving if not later pending on the weather.
Tomatoes are on there way out so if your looking for canners and so on I would get them sooner then later as I think we will be all done by next week or so😞. That being said we have a lot of really nice n big peppers of most colors... We should have lots past thanks giving at this point.
Yellow and green beans plus peas are all in great shape at the moment as it is a brand new field just coming on n they are nice n young n full of flavor same as the first ones of the season. We still have another field to come after this one that is just starting to bloom now so again we expect to have all 3 till thanks giving if the weather holds up.
Squash and pumpkin are being picked now and should be starting to fill the yard up in the next day or two.
Alot of hard work and effort goes into growing and producing over 100 acres.
