Back at the farm, Bella is very pregnant and I am watching her closely. Hopefully she does nit kid in the middle if our goat yoga class tomorrow morning, but qué sera sera.

It’s a goat extravaganza weekend for sure.

On Saturday I will be at the Vancouver Island Goat Association’s BBQ event. This is a membership event and not open to the general public. There will be information sharing on the important topic of kidding, and social activities planned.

On Sunday, Cresta Roca Farm is hosting our weekly goat yoga session. This is our second class of the season and the class is filling up but we still have spots available for Sunday’s class.

Our farm supplies red wiggler worms for composting year round. We have worms available now.

Our farm is located on Gabriola and we deliver to Nanaimo, at Port Place Mall. We do not ship worms.

Our first goat yoga session of the year this morning was a complete success. We did not expect a full class this early in the season and I wish to thank all of our participants for helping us kick off our goat yoga season.

A special thank you to Michelle who made her third visit to our farm for goat yoga and for including us in her special getaway weekend with friends.

Thank you Linda, our amazing instructor for a great yoga class!

Cresta Roca Farm will be hosting weekly goat yoga sessions throughout the summer.

Forwarding for awareness of dog owners.

Dogs running in packs kill and maim livestock and other animals, it’s instinctual behaviour.

My heart goes out to Zoë of Thorcrest Farm, one of the most conscientious people I know when it comes to the humane treatment of her animals. Her goat should not have suffered due to the carelessness of the dog owners.
