The strong colours never disappoint, the textures of shells and the odd shapes that randomly come are three of my top favourite things about free-range eggs.

The deep sage green eggs have to be my most treasured πŸ’š

I love the freckles that some eggs have. They always remind me of summer freckles that appear on our cheeks from the warm sun β˜€οΈ

Not to worry, our eggs are kept cool in their coops and once washed! Their "freckles" are calcium deposits on the shell. They dont affect the inside egg whatsoever πŸ€πŸ€“

$5 a dozen, fresh, free-range coloured eggs πŸ₯š 🌈
Both fridges are FULL, inside and out!

Spring is in the brisk air that surrounds us this morning, and it's beautiful 😍

The eggs are coming in slowly, but surely, a few hens want to sit, so why not let them.
A couple of duck hens are also sitting on eggs.

Fingers crossed the cold snap didn't spoil them! 🀞

Stop by for a dozen eggs, $5 cash or etransfer- [email protected]

Enjoy the day friends 🧑

Eggs Available πŸ₯š 🌈

Gertrude(Gerti) is one of our 3 female turkeys we have running around. She is a big girl but moseys along just fine. Gerti can't always keep up with the others, sitting down for a break every now and then but ends up making it to the party.

Turkey eggs will soon be added to the fridge, 1/2 dozen for $8.00

The fluffed out wild man behind her is Jeffrey (Dahmer). He is pretty cut throat, stepping over/on chickens, hitting them with his wings, all just to show us his dance moves & fancy face colours when we come outside.

Happy Easter Weekend! 🐰

Happy Tuesday Cluckers! 🌈

How on earth did they ever normalize people not owning their own chickens.. I'll forever be grateful for my birds and being able to explore the world of animals. 🐀

Regardless of animals and people speaking differently, we seem to understand each other pretty well around here πŸ’•
