We will have our petting farm set up at cobbs pond today 10-2 pm Saturday August 22nd

Today we planted 8-10 acres of cover crop, and after a few bumps along the way, getting it done is a huge relief!
Cover crops are about so much more than what we see growing above the ground. They help feed and protect our soil, build organic matter, improve soil health, reduce erosion, support beneficial insects and contribute to a healthier farm ecosystem.
Farming and the environment truly go hand in hand.
We rely on healthy soil to grow our crops, and by taking care of that soil, we’re investing in the future of our farm.

There will be no eggs at the market today.
Hopefully our hens pick their laying back up over the next couple of weeks. Molting is a natural process that hens need to go through, and unfortunately it means egg production can slow down quite a bit.
