Raised right here at Fallbrook Farms. Small batch, no antibiotics, and locally processed.

Turns out he’s much easier to handle in the freezer. 😆

I used to think we were growing apples.

But the longer I do this, the more I realize we’re growing something else too.

A place to get outside.
To wander without rushing.
To laugh with your kids.
To take way too many pictures with your friends.
To go on a first date.
To come back with someone you’ve loved for 40 years.
To pick something from a tree and eat it right there.
To remember that some of the best moments are still the simplest ones.

In a world that keeps pulling us toward screens, schedules and somewhere else, I’m proud to be building a place that pulls people back toward nature — and toward each other.

Because years from now, you probably won’t remember how many apples you picked.

You’ll remember the people you were with, the pictures you took, and how that day felt.

And that’s why around here…

Apparently the answer to everything is… go to the apple farm. 🍎😂

Kids bored? Apple farm.
Too much screen time? Apple farm.
Need to get everyone out of the house? Apple farm.
Need fresh air, animals, a wagon ride, a corn maze, pumpkins, apples and somewhere the kids can actually run?

We can fix that. 😉

There was a time when we dreamed about having a farm people would want to visit.

Now, a few weeks before opening, there are days when the list feels endless. Bales to move. Grass to cut. Signs to hang. Animals to care for. Stuff to buy and set up. Things to build. A hundred little things that somehow all need to happen at once.

And then I remember…

This is the tired we once prayed for.
This is the busy we once dreamed about.
This is the work that came with the growth we hoped for.

So today, we build the Straw Jump. ❤️

Soon these bales won’t be quiet. They’ll be covered in little feet, big jumps, belly laughs, and kids who go home tired, dirty, and hopefully with a memory they’ll keep.

And that makes every heavy bale worth it.

The apples are just the souvenirs. 🍎

Fallbrook Farms opens Thursday, August 27th at 9 am.
