We had fresh oysters, fried oysters, crab cake, mixed fried fish, fish n chips, with mushy peas, vinegar, tartare and of course curry sauce.

When the girls go to the greenhouse…

Honestly this feels like a cheap vacation hack. Friends, coffee, road trip, warmth, tropical plants, 80s music, giggles, giant agave, some cutie birds, and more plants for the house. Top tier morning that can’t be beat.

Also… Being in Grandbend made me very exciting for the summer 🌺🌞🌊

Our last night in Cabo we decided to eat on the beach, enjoy the fireworks while simultaneously having our toes in the sand

Funky Geisha is a vegan friendly Asian inspired bar and restaurant. It blends the bold flavours of Thailand and Japan with the relaxed spirit of the beach. Stunning decor and beautiful atmosphere on the playa overlooking the iconic Sea of Cortez.

Perfect backdrop to enjoy sushi, sashimi, wok + curries and hand craft cocktails.

I recommend the sashimi while visiting Cabo, as they have some amazing and fresh caught tuna. 10/10

The yellow curry was overwhelmed with cardamom and it took away from the overall experience. 5/10

I’d stick to the small dishes and eat family style. Definitely could get away with sharing mains as they were quite large.

The atmosphere and drinks menu caught my interest the most after this dining experience

best pizza I’ve had in while.

Crust was 10/10, chewy, stretchy and sour. Housemade cashew cheese. Homemade “meat” substitutes including soy asada, chickpea chorizo and chicken, and soy al pastor.

I had the Honolulu with asada, bbq sauce drizzle, pineapple, chilli and bell peppers.

Was so nice, we got it twice. ✌️

(Skip the salad and go straight for the pizza)

is a fully veggie / vegan kitchen, making authentic Mexican plant based cuisine!

The owners are so kind with an amazing story and you can feel the love when you walk through the bright mural coated doorway.

Our servers were happy to help explain the dishes and also bring us out a medley of house made salsa and sauces to try with home made corn chips.

Toby ordered the house berry lemonade which was bursting with flavour, all fresh ingredients.

I had my first café de olla, a drink traditionally made in a clay pot (getting better with each drink made) with coffee, simmering spices and this one had orange and Mexican sugar, piloncillo, which created a sweet, spicy and dark Carmel flavoured coffee beverage.

I have to say the look and taste of my vegan ceviche was the star of the show. So bright and zesty with fresh lime and purple cauliflower. It was served on top of crispy tostada with mango and avocado.

Lovely experience, and a nice little shop inside to buy clothes and souvenirs.

They also have a catering company / sister business where we will be taking a cooking class tonight! Check back later for more details on what Mexican dishes we get to learn tonight ! 💕✨🇲🇽🌱

Farm to Table Restaurant and Bar

This place is a vision plucked out of a dream. El Huerto Farm to Table restaurant is located in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico 🇲🇽

Surrounded by breathtaking Cabo landscape, gardens, orchards and fruit trees. It represents an old baja hacienda (estate) with a functioning farm that meticulously plans for every season.

The grounds were kept to perfection. We got to wander the farm prior to our diner reservation, looking at the seasonal produce, stunning flowers and gorgeous vibe tbat have created.

The team holds a high standard of service and hospitality, with an emphasis on sustainability and using our resources in the right way.

After pulling out the ladies chair they promptly brought purse stools for us.

I almost need to make two posts for the amazing food, beverage and grounds I photographed. They had alot of plant based dishes to showcase their produce, we tried most of the menu family style. My perferwd way of eating…. 😝 (then you get to try more) The wood fired pizza, sharing steak platter, and tirimisu were all 10/10!

I highly recommend this spot for a special occasion when you are in the Cabo area.

Sharing our most recent family meal at Goderich’s Cork & Coast located on Highway 21. We celebrated my aunties 75th birthday at brunch over the weekend, which was just delightful. New favourite takeaway from the meal was the mango mimosa, which will definitely be on the Christmas menu this year.

Also included are photos of our summer dinner back in 2024, where we literally indulged in the entire menu!
