*🍁 Update- Veggies are available at the Twig & Berry/Parson Store honour stand. Carrots, parsnips, cabbage, rainbow chard, radishes, and lettuce. 🥕 Thanks to everyone for coming-out today, it was really fun. 🍂
Come on down to the Parson Park, weather is always better in Parson. Half Ebe's Garden proceeds going to Parson Heartwood school kids club, and lots of kiddos have their own market stands set-up. Chilli is hot, games are going. :) Live music about to begin. 🎶

🥕 Well it's finally time we have to hibernate our honour stands at Twig & Berry, but you can find us at this Sunday's Parson Fall Faire. Beginning at 12 noon at the Parson Park. We will have carrots and lettuce for sure, some cabbages, squash, radishes, rainbow chard, parsnips and smiles. Jams, jellies and garlic from Honey Bee Gardens as well hopefully. 🐝

🥕What a season! We were lucky with the weather at Saturdays outdoor Farmers' market. Yesterday, as the first snowflakes gently fell, we began working on wrapping-up the garden and harvesting the last odds and ends for ourselves. -6C this morning!
This extended growing season wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many:
• Julie and Megan- Thank you for showing up week after week with positivity and great conversation, even through the worst mosquito days. You’ve become dear friends.
• Carla, our Farmers’ Market manager- your organization made market days the easiest part of our week.
• Fellow vendors- your dedication through all kinds of weather helped make the market vibrant and high quality, all the baking kept us extra well fed on the go. 🍞🥧🍯🍪☕
• Garlic Fest crew- Thanks to everyone who came out in July and turned a monotonous job into one of our favorite summer memories.
• Grandparents and pals- your babysitting and playdate planning gave us the freedom to plant & harvest with less guilt.
• Twig & Berry family, and Morley and the Beelands staff- thank you for supporting and caring for the honour stands.
•Farmer Chad- Thank you for entrusting us with your cows again this year. Our daughter took a special interest in looking after them, and they quickly became a highlight of her season around the farm.
• Chrystel and Local Food Matters- Thank you for inspiring us to expand the garden and organizing the new school meal programs. Your vision for future food distribution, rooted in community, accessibility, and local resilience, continues to guide and energize us.
• And to our amazing customers- Your weekly visits, positive energy, and recipe ideas kept us inspired all season long. We’re always striving to grow better, and to bring as much variety and quality to your tables with each passing season.🐞

We’ll be finishing up garden cleanup, planting garlic this week, and eventually hibernating for a bit before we start dreaming up plans for Spring 2026. Wishing you all a cozy, healthy Thanksgiving.

For our final final Farmers' market of the season October 11th, Spirit Square 10-3pm, we will have: carrots, parsnips, spinach, mixed greens lettuce, rainbow chard, kale, pak choi, radish, turnip, beets, squash, pumpkin, lots of hotter peppers, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, dill, parsley, arugula, rosemary, mint, and other odds and ends. Twig and Berry honour stand is also freshly stocked. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

See you at the Spirit Square this Saturday, 10am-3pm. We are cleaning-out the garden, and the brussel sprouts are looking pretty good.

We are thrilled to share that this Saturday's Thanksgiving Market will feature a special 🌱Harvest Menu 🌱 curated by at Columbia Valley Catering Co.!

This menu has been curated using ingredients from our incredible local producers and market community. A chance to enjoy all of the farmers market in one, delicious meal! Getting hungry already?! Us too! 🤤

PS - the market will be OUTDOORS at SPIRIT SQUARE, rain or shine! (apologies for any confusion with other advertising that said the market was at the Civic Centre!)

🧡 As we reflect on the privilege of tending this land, may we honour the truths of the past by planting seeds today- and growing something better for tomorrow. Every Child Matters.
This finally is the last Wednesday market of the year, and we have quite a bit to harvest. Tomorrow October 1st- we will have a lot of spinach, mixed greens, rainbow swiss chard, celery, carrots, onions, potatoes, beets, squash/pumpkin, kohlrabi, cabbage, leeks, parsnips, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, pak choi, broccoli, dill, parsley, other herbs, and we shall see what else we scavenge. 10am-3pm at Spirit Square, drizzle or shine. ☂️🌦⛅️

Spinach, beans, assorted fingerling potatoes, peas, leeks, assorted squash, cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce, cabbages, carrots, beets, onions, parsnips- all freshly delivered to Twig & Berry/Parson General Store and Beelands Market and coffee bar down in Spillimacheen. This will be the last week we will be delivering to Beelands, but we will keep Parson going a bit longer as the weather allows. Thank you so much for all the support this season and lovely comments.

Happy Autumn! 🍂 We are down to 2 more Wednesday Farmers' markets for the season.
This crisp Fall air is making us think of cozy soups, stews and spices. For tomorrows September 24th market we are bringing: Leeks, parsnips, potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, cabbage, kohlrabi, squash, pumpkin, herbs, romaine lettuce, kale, rainbow chard, spinach, mixed greens, cucumber, zucchini, tomatoes, and more. Stock-up, winter is coming!

For tomorrows September 17th Farmers' Market we have a variety of greens- spinach, head lettuce, mixed greens, rainbow Swiss chard, kale, cabbage, basil, herbs, tomatoes galore, carrots, beets, radishes, kohlrabi, cucumbers, squash, pumpkin, onions, strawberries and other garden goodies, the truck is packed and gardens are still going strong.
