Wow....look at that deal on wagyu at Costco "Japanese A5" wagyu rib roast, on sale for $120/LB delivered to your door. Regular price is $160!!!!

Meanwhile over at Mountain Cattle Co. We are hooking our customers up for $50/lb and we are often also delivering right to your door.....but we do it in person! Because we actually want to get to know our customers! We dont have stock on rib roasts or tenderloin roasts, but we can custom cuts if we know prior to butcher day.

The second picture is of our wagyu rib steaks, cut 1" thick and buttery, melt in your mouth delicious! Looking pretty comparable to the Costco A5 rib roast!

We take a lot of Flack from people who aren't familiar with wagyu beef with regards to our pricing, we just thought that this puts things into perspective a little bit. We aren't trying to take advantage, we aren't gouging.....our pricing is where its at Because we genuinely want our wagyu beef to be affordable as possible. We need to make something on it to keep the lights on and the tractors fuelled.....but we do genuinely make an effort to keep our pricing reasonable and realistic while giving our customers the best product we possibly can.

Getting ready for another market! Looking forward to some more face to face time with our amazing customers!

We will have stock on wagyu beef by the cut, freeze dried goodies, tallow balm, sugar and salt scrubs and we are even working on our tallow candles!

We will only have a few of our 15 lb sample packs on hand and we would be happy to bring quarters to the sale by specific request!

Just playing with different wicks/sizes for some tallow candles....since not many people seem to use tallow for this none of the candle suppliers can give recommendations and so its trial and error! But hey, we are learning something.

The wooden wicks dont seem to want to play nice at all....so far the cotton wicks seem to be winning, we will have to upside them a little for our vessel size, might also try some h**p!

If our post reaches any experienced candle makers, we are all ears when it comes to receiving advice!

When you come over the hill headed for the cattle to feed before work and you see these 3 from 800+/- yards and you own black cattle. The first thought through your head is well....we will keep it PG, but the gist of it was that I didn't think id be getting to work on time.

Upon closer inspection, I was pretty happy to see a cow moose and a pair of calves making it through the winter.
