Martin Farms

Martin Farms Martin Farms is a family farm located on western Manitoulin Island. We have male and female purebred, and commercial breeding stock available.

We run a cow/calf to finish operation and market all of our own beef through our brand Pure Island Beef. Our herd consists of primarily of purebred Angus, and Shorthorn cattle along with our commercial herd. Inquiries always encouraged.

Come check out MSA Matt 303M at Canadian Western Agribition in the shorthorn barn. He’s a low birthweight bull that is heavy muscled, long, and has lots of rear lower quarter! He’s out of MSA Madge 328K who is a beautiful roan cow with a moderate frame, easy fleshing, feminine and has a wonderful udder. His sire MSA Matt 53K is a red roan, thick topped bull out of Muridale Matt 37Y that has worked incredibly well every where he’s went. Matt 53K has been used with success on heifers and commercial cows in our herd.

We are pleased to offer in this years Agribition Shorthorn sale MSA Lady 25M from the top of our bred heifer pen. She comes from a great cow family.The calves from her dam and 3 maternal sisters are always amongst our best.
Lady 25M is long bodied, has excellent depth of rib and is smooth made. With her striking markings and showy posture, she stands out in a herd. She was a class winner at Agribition 2024 and has continued to develop well.
Bred June 5 to CSF Evolution and vet checked pregnant.
