Attention valued customers.
We at Miller Livestock have sure been used to making a lot of changes over the past few years. Moving from our old location to a sea can, building a new office, building a brand new handling facility, building an addition on to existing office, and now building on to our receiving pens. Amongst all these changes, the hardest one of all was losing Deryl. Deryl, who we all affectionately referred to as “Boss” was the captain of the ship and his name carried a great amount of respect in the Canadian cattle industry.
In 2007 Miller Livestock formed the Miller Livestock Partnership with JGL Livestock. This partnership allowed Miller Livestock a broader access of marketing opportunities across North America, while strengthening our purchasing power in Saskatchewan. Miller Livestock as we know it today is a direct reflection of this great partnership.
While the partnership carried on after his passing, his family has since exited the business and asked that we not carry the Miller name. While the staff here at Miller Livestock is sad to not be flying under that banner in the future, we are fully committed to carrying on his legacy in a way that he would be proud of.
We will soon be operating as “Boss Cattle Marketing.” Starting this October. While the name will change, the staff, management, and the way we do business will not. We look forward to servicing your needs as we always have this fall and going forward.
