🐿️🍟 French Fry is handling this whole hibernation thing suspiciously well.

We’re missing all of you and daydreaming about juicy smash burgers. Meanwhile, this guy has the hockey on and a pantry packed with nuts and french fries.

Apparently, he’s going to be just fine.At least until the fries run out. Then we may have a situation.

Give it up for JAMES HENNESSY, our FIRST-EVER Burger Boys Burger Eating Contest champion! An unbelievable performance, James. You’ve earned those bragging rights! 👏

To all our brave competitors, we were blown away by how well everyone did. Thank you for taking on the challenge! And to everyone who came to cheer them on, you helped make a gorgeous day at Gull Lake Rotary Park even better.

James had this to share after his victory: "I’m proud to bring home the win, but it wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun without everyone who participated and came out to support the event."

What a way to wrap up our BEST SEASON YET.

We’re now CLOSED FOR THE WINTER. Thank you to our amazing community for showing up for us, and to our hardworking team for everything you put into this season. We’re heading into the winter feeling pretty lucky.

Now for a little recreation time and some brainstorming for next year. Although, we might not sleep through the WHOLE winter. There could still be a few fun surprises up our sleeves. 😉

Today is our FINAL DAY of the 2026 season. Hard to believe we’re saying that already!

We’ve gathered a few favourite summer memories to share, and they’re full of the people who made this year so special.

Thank you for stopping by the stand and making us part of your days at Gull Lake. And to our team, thank you for working hard and keeping the laughs going all season. We’re lucky to have you.

We’re making Burger Boys history TODAY!

Our FIRST-EVER Burger Eating Contest kicks off at 3 PM at Gull Lake Rotary Park, rain or shine. A towering 30 oz. cheeseburger and fresh-cut fries stand between our challengers and some serious bragging rights. Come cheer them on! 🏆

It’s also our SECOND-LAST DAY of the season. Tomorrow is our FINAL DAY, then these Boys are crawling into winter hibernation. 🐿️🍂
