And just like that, our first close fire of the year 😢

We are responding to wildland fire Sudbury 3, which currently measures 3 hectares. This fire is located on Secord Road, approximately 2 kilometres west of Highway 69, northwest of Estaire. The fire is not under control. Residents in the area and travelers along Highway 69 may notice smoke.

Two Twin Otters and one Bird Dog are conducting air attack operations, and Ontario FireRangers and local municipal firefighters are on site. Please stay clear of the area.
