The Doors of Grimsby — No. 1 🤍
I’ve always been drawn to the little details that make a place feel like home.
A doorway. A window. An old porch. The flowers someone carefully planted beside their front step.
So I’ve decided to start a new series — painting some of the beautiful, interesting and meaningful front doors around Grimsby, Ontario.
And for the very first one, I chose the Grimsby Museum.
There’s something about this building that feels like part of our town’s story. And somehow, its front door seemed like the perfect place to begin.
I’m not just painting doors. I’m painting the feeling of a place — the memories, the history and the little details that make a town feel like ours.
I hope you’ll follow along and see if you recognize some of the doors that come next.
The first door. The Museum. 🤍
