Hi all! 🎃
As summer comes to an end and we head into fall and pumpkin-picking season, the pumpkin patch is looking a little different this year.
Normally, by this time, the field would be full of pumpkins ready for picking. Unfortunately, the storm that hit our community and surrounding areas early in the growing season washed away many of the seeds and small plants, while others didn’t survive the standing water.
While we’re certainly disappointed about the patch, we know many in our community faced much greater losses from the storm. ❤️
A few plants did manage to make it through, and they’re just now starting to flower and grow pumpkins! 🌱🎃
We’re still hopeful that we’ll have a few pumpkins from the patch later this season. We’ll keep you posted and share an update if any become available!
Thanks for understanding, and fingers crossed for a few little pumpkins! 🤞🎃
