This Thanksgiving weekend is our last one at St. Norbert Farmers' Market we are almost sold out so come down and pick up culinary or seed garlic on Saturday! Dont forget to try some black garlic in your thanksgiving gravy to add a deep umami flavor. See you tomorrow!

Just a reminder on how to plant garlic! 6” of leaves or straw mulch is very important in Manitoba especially with our bipolar winter of warm/cold cycles. Happy planting!

Had a custom pottery piece done by Michael Lemer Pottery its a beautiful huge garlic keeper! Holding 3 lbs of garlic. Last winter I did a test in a smaller clay keeper which only held a few garlic and was pleasantly surprised that it kept some of my shorter shelf like garlic like Chesnok red and Spanish Roja 2 months longer.
