Hello hello! We have been quiet over here at That Gay Garden. Mostly because we have been planning, preparing and plotting to partner with a beautiful farm and farmer just outside of Kingston!

We are very grateful, pleased and excited to annouce that we will be partnering with ! Hope Green Collecive was started by Marz, a q***r, trans Mexican farmer who has very similar goals and ideals about community, farming and intentional living.

Moon has moved out to Kingston so two of us can ready the site for the winter, assist with crop harvesting and plan for the spring! There is quite a bit of work needed on the land as the pervious owners left in a bit of a hurry. We are planning for so many changes to the land, the farm and our living situations.

We are so so grateful for the support of community because othwrwise we would not have been blessed with this wonderful and life giving opportunity. We will be posting a few updates about the farm and our needs/plans/actions so please keep a look out for those.

Some garden updates after almost a full week of rain!

The sunflower is out and proud (a little after pride but we'll take it 😂) and our harvests were bountiful! The bees were all over the bergamot as well. Swipe for bee bums! 🐝
