The Hortons Cove Farm Stand will be open this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. We will have fruit cake, bread, baguettes, along with freshly picked apples, figs, tomatoes, cucumbers and more!

We accept cash and e-transfer.

Find us at 137 Hortons Cove Rd, Cooks Cove (just a few mins outside of the village of Guysborough).

The Hortons Cove Farm Stand is open again this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. We’re located at 137 Hortons Cove Rd, Cooks Cove (just outside of Guysborough).

Beside the usual we now have available:

Boskoop apple for $ 2 per pound

The Belle de Boskoop is a large, rustic, old heirloom apple variety very suitable for cooking and baking, as it retains its shape.

It's rich, but sprightly flavour has a sharp, clean, lemon tinge that will wake up your taste buds.

It stores very well during the winter in cold storage and gains sweetness during that process.

It contains high levels of vitamin C and other beneficial components. Compared to standard grocery store apples the vitamin C level could be as much as 4 times higher.

And we also have lots of fresh kiwi fruit available for $6.

We have lots of goodies available this Saturday at the Hortons Cove Farm Stand!

From leafy greens, grapes, apples, pears, delicious cakes, breads, rolls, jams, jellies and more! All fruits and veggies are grown without the use of pesticides in our permaculture greenhouse.

The figs are also slowly ripening, so we will have some available but they may go quick, so make sure you come early.

The Farm Stand is open Saturday from 10am to 2pm at 137 Hortons Cove Rd, Cooks Cove (about 5mins outside of Guysborough).
