I found the most unusual fireweed near the farm. It had a wide stem, almost 1 inch across, and the flower head ad a thousand flowers on it. Very impressive and worth a video to capture its beauty and uniqueness.

Hello festooning bees!

When bees hang out like this across spaces, it is called festooning.

Festoon (noun) is defined as 'a decorative chain or strip hanging between two points' in the Miriam Webster dictionary; and festoon (verb) means to hang or form festoons on. First used in the early 1600's, the word comes originally from festival or feast.

I like that word- festoon. Sounds like there's a party...

P-A-R-T- why? Too hang and make wax, of course!

The electric fence is all fixed up! It took a bit of sleuthing to figure out why at the end it was still shorting somehwere.... turned out I had a live connector wire connected to a ground wire rather than to another live wire. 😅 But I figured it out in the end! It's always a little bit of a puzzle when you have to follow the path of the wires, sometimes more than 3 times to figure it out! Haha

Love it when my gloves stain my hands yellow. 🙄 Hands down, it's a cool effect to look like a Simpson's character.😆 ...
