We interrupt this hiatus to bring you this special bulletin: Run, don’t walk, to Halina Cafe & Bar for their Dine Around Halifax special!
We are novices when it comes to Filipino cuisine, but decided to give it a try. The appetizers we selected were kinda like spring rolls in fresh crepes - very good. The mains were a chicken sisiq and chicken & pork belly with garlic rice - smelled amazing and tasted even better. The desserts were an ube cheesecake flan and a buko pandan. All of this for $50. Combined, not each! Unreal value, reasonable portions and friendly service. 10/10!
