Small changes can make a big difference.

At The Bao Journey in the Shubie Park Canteen, we're doing our best to balance running a small business with protecting the environment.

For our dine-in guests, we're choosing reusable bamboo baskets and bento boxes instead of disposable plates and containers whenever possible. It's a simple change, but one that helps reduce waste and keeps our beautiful park a little cleaner and greener.

We know convenience is important, but we also believe every small step toward sustainability matters. By dining in with us, you're helping reduce single-use waste and supporting a local business that cares about the environment.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we can enjoy delicious food while helping preserve the natural beauty of Shubie Park for everyone to enjoy. 💛🌿

She was out sketching in Shubie Park with her friends, and we feel so lucky that our little canteen became the subject of her artwork.

Shubie Park is a wonderful place to spend the day—whether you enjoy drawing, hiking, kayaking, walking your dog, or simply relaxing in the sunshine. And while you're here, don't forget to treat yourself to one of our delicious egg waffles, a refreshing drink, or a sweet snack.
