Established in 2015, Bec Hardy Wines is a family-owned wine business based in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Bec is a 6th generation member of and the first female winemaker from one of Australian’s oldest wine families, the Hardys.
Bec Hardy is one of Mclaren Vale’s newest but most historic premium wineries. There’s no contradiction there; the Hardy name has been synonymous with South Australian wine since the 1850s and Bec Hardy continues that tradition, building on the experience and reputation of her predecessors including Thomas Hardy who is regarded as the «father of the South Australian wine industry».
In 2020, Bec took over the ownership and running of the Pertaringa brand in McLaren Vale which was established by her father Geoff Hardy in 1980.

🍇 Pertaringa Pinot noir is a beautiful red wine from Adellaide’s vineyard. The nose displays youthful and fresh aromas of strawberries, cherries and raspberries with additional floral notes. The palate is vibrant with red cherries and strawberries, complemented by soft, powdery tannins.

La Lupinella Azienda Agricola is a winery located in Tuscany, Italy and belongs to the famous Bitossi family. The entire vineyard and its plots are treated with the greatest respect for the environment, the estate is also in conversion to certified organic farming. But for the Bitossi family, organic is much more than not using synthetic products, it is about being the guardian of biodiversity: constant presence in the vines, use of techniques and traditions aimed at defending local biodiversity, entirely manual harvesting, fermentation on native yeasts, sowing of plants biocompatible with the vines, etc.

🍇 Il Lupinello is an Unlitro (1L) rosso, elaborated with Sangiovese, Canaiolo and a small percent of white grape Trebbiano. A wine with floral and red berries aromas, a nice freshness in the mouth as well as a very soft texture. The tannins are velvety and juicy.
The ideal accompaniment to a plate of charcuterie, or pasta with tomato sauce.
