Wine Wednesday: Long Weekend edition 🛶

It's here, the final long weekend of the summer! We're a bit torn up about it personally but there's nothing wrong with getting back into the swing of things, right? That's what we're telling ourselves anyway.

This week, make it count and stock up with our Labour Day Weekend Red Wine 6pk, which contains a nice mix of medium-bodied and heavier reds, with some familiar favourites and a few newer additions, too. Our Summer Sunset White Wine 3pk honours those colourful sunsets we've been taking in these last few months; expect some fresh and crisp picks here. Apparently we just missed the cut.

Wine Enthusiast just named 10 of the Most Iconic Wine Shops Around the World, celebrating the shops that have shaped wine culture, introduced people to new bottles, and made exploring the world of wine a whole lot more fun.

Sounds familiar… but we’ll assume #11 was Bishop’s Cellar. 😉

In all seriousness, there are some incredible wine shops around the world that we love visiting for inspiration (and, naturally, a little “research”).

Wine Wednesday 👋

If you can believe it, we've come to the final Wine Wednesday of August. To help with this shocking realization, we've taken a few special bottles and slashed their prices for one day only. It's only fair, right?

This week, our Goodbye August Red Wine 6pk is appropriately named, full of favourites from Argentina, Spain, Chile, and Italy. Our Italian Summer Holiday White Wine 3pk is a nod to how much of Italy treats this time of year, featuring a trio of crisp and fresh Italian gems. Despite August coming to a close and school fast approaching, there's still plenty of time to enjoy some summer fun. Aaaand that's where our Summer Sale comes in handy. We're going out on a limb and saying this week's Red Wine 6pk is Peak Summer! Six different bottles from five different countries, what more could you ask for? Our Summer Breeze White Wine 3pk features the perfect companions to those comforting summer breezes that we expect this time of year. And our third(!) curated case is a 3pk: La Vie en Rose. Fresh collab & contest incoming 🥵

We partnered with our buds at Stillwell Brewing Company to bring you Spaghett!

Using their Czech 10 Pale-Lager with our favourite Luxardo Aperitivo and freshly squeezed lemon juice, the palate is super refreshing with bitter orange flavours playing off the zippy lemon, and it’s all wrapped up with some c r i s p carbonation and a snappy finish. You’re not gonna Spaghett this one.

We're launching this collab beer cocktail on Thursday at Halifax Seaport Beerfest & Fizzfest 2026 so if you're coming through, don't forget to say hi and try this local creation. If you don't have tickets yet, you're in luck: we're giving away TWO VIP tickets* to the Thursday session (6-9:30pm).
