We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Equilibrium Acres Veggie Season. This is the second year growing fruits and vegetables in the Dundas Valley at Old 99 Farm.
Exciting news there will be Strawberries available pre-picked and U-pick this summer. It’s the first time growing these sweet treats so we’re keen to learn how to care for them.
As the threat of tariffs is looming, food prices and availability risk being volatile. I am proud to be in a position to help weather food insecurity in uncertain times and share this resilience with you and our community. By buying local and supporting small farms like Equilibrium Acres, you are participating in food security resilience and ensuring that we continue to have access to healthy nourishment especially during times of international and climatic changes.
In 2024 we donated $ 8,404 worth of produce to Neighbour to Neighbour food bank in Hamilton on behalf of generous donors. If you would like to help feed local people in need, please reach out and we can make sure that you receive a tax receipt for your donation.
We offer a la carte options, as well as 4 CSA Seasons, 10 weeks each, running from April 24th 2025 to January 30th 2026.
The market will be open for pick up at the farm, at 1580 Old HWY 99, in Dundas, every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm, starting April 24th. If you cannot make that window, your order can be prepared and put aside for you at a time of your convenience.
