September is going to be a HUGE month for us! It kicks off with Super Crawl this weekend (11-13th)! We are so excited to finally be participating in Hamilton’s biggest event of the year!

We will have our 3 bbq sauces, 8 hot sauces and our special hot ketchup available for tasting and purchase. We are also loaded up with our world famous Heat From Above: Fiery Cheese Bites! And we have some bbq rub left that we’ll be bringing.

We are located in V8 close to
Barton St. We are looking forward to a fun weekend! Food, music and shows plus art displays and vendors. Friday night has Grapes of Wrath playing, I haven’t seen those guys since I was at university a loooong time ago!

Wow September already! The good news is that the farmers are chock full of produce! This week we have 7 different farms at the market!

We also have a large number of food and artisan vendors this weekend so the market is bustling this morning!

And even though the TiCats aren’t having the best season the Labour Day Classic against our arch nemesis the Argos is on Monday. It’s the biggest game of the regular season so let’s hope they beat down the Argooooos! 🏈

It’s going to be a spicy day out at Erin Hill Acres ! Today is their first hot sauce show, what a great venue! There are 9 vendors all set up. I’m actually a little relieved Val is working today otherwise she might be spending a lot of money at the farm shop! 😬😂

Already got a fresh brewed coffee and I’m ready to roll! ☕️

It’s Farmers Market Week! This is the best time of the year to come to the farmers market. All the farmers are here and are full of produce! We have 6 farmers today with plenty of fresh veggies and fruits!

Plenty of food vendors today as well and a number of us artisans. As long as the rain stays away should be a great day at the market!

It’s a muggy one down here at Ottawa Street Farmers' Market. More and more farmers are coming out and there are a lot of fruit and veggies available!

We are usually here until 2 pm but today we are leaving at 12 so we can go to the Ticat game this afternoon! Stop by and stock up on spicy snacks for watching gthe game at home!

The August long weekend is usually a hard one to figure out for markets. Are people going out of town or deciding to just relax at home?

This coming long weekend Aquanova Brewing Co. is hosting an event that will revolve around hot sauce, beer and food!

Join us and a host of other makers at the Scoville Surge Market on Sunday Aug 2nd. Enjoy samples of spicy products, cool off with some amazing beer and chow down when the hunger hits! A great way to spend a lazy hazy summer Sunday afternoon!

You should always come down to the Ottawa Street Farmers' Market on Saturdays but this Saturday is the one you don’t want to miss!

It’s our annual Ice Cream and Hot Sauce Day! You heard right! For the past 4 years we pick a day in July and we give out free ice cream and put our Cherry Fusion BBQ sauce and Fearman’s Fire Apple Sauce With Attitude on top!

Our very first hot sauce show we did there was an ice cream vendor and we told him about a customer who said the bbq sauce was great on ice cream. We tried it and it was a hit!

We’re there from 8 - 2 on Saturday however you want to get there early as we don’t know how long the ice cream will last before it’s all gone!
