As you may have gathered by now I’m a big fan of “soft autumn” 🍂

These were made mainly with the autumn foliage and seed heads in my October gardens, including native bidens frondosa, goldenrod, dotted mint, snowberry, and ninebark, non-native from my garden clematis, spirea, deutzia, sedum, dahlias, and zinnias, and from local farms seasonal lisianthus, cosmos, pincushion flowers, grasses, hydrangea, and pears 🍐

Zoom in to check out that texture!

So excited to offer fresh eucalyptus bouquets for the next few weeks, grown locally by Veranda Farms Herbs & Flowers 🌿

Eucalyptus is one of those things in the floral industry I don’t normally love because it is imported en masse from around the world. So I am so thrilled to be able to offer this local alternative that is sustainable, fresh, and smells amazing.

These mixed euc bouquets dry beautifully as well so can continue to be enjoyed, or pop them in the shower for a steamy scented good time 😁

Order through the link in bio 💕

Hi everyone! Just a little Floral & Brick update as we get deeper into the fall and winter season!

Thank you all for an amazing growing season full of all the garden goodies. To be true to what I am trying to do with my business (which is offering a sustainable alternative to the traditional floral industry) I am not going to be offering cut flower bouquets now that the local garden season is finished. I really struggled with this decision, because I know that many people will still want cut flower bouquets and if I’m not offering locally grown greenhouse flowers, the option is removed and more imported flowers will be purchased 🥲. BUT I am hoping that by offering some fun alternatives to bouquets, like a variety of fall wreaths, some dried garden flowers, winter wreaths and greenery+ berry+branches centrepieces, I might be able to keep floral gifting and deliveries going all year while staying seasonal and sustainable.

So right now you can order herb wreaths that dry beautifully, then I will also have a few dried flower wreaths (feel free to reach out about those, they will be limited!), and then we’ll get to the fun winter stuff! So you can still make someone’s day with a fun floral delivery through Floral & Brick ❤️

In my garden news I have been adding more and more native plants to the cutting gardens, so next year will be even better come spring. And I’m so looking forward to flowering up your special events and weddings!!! So much beauty in the works.

Thank you for all your support as always 💕
