This time last weekend our Herd Tour was underway! It sure was a hot one with a humidex of 45 🥵! We toured our guests around for a couple of hours then returned for some well needed refreshments. Smoked brisket, Chicken Chef Chicken, baked beans, baked potatoes and salads were served, and homemade pies rounded out the meal.

Guests travelled from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and we thank them for joining us!

It’s always a pleasure to talk cattle with fellow enthusiasts!

Good luck to all the participants at the Canadian Junior Shorthorn event in Olds AB as they wrap up their final day!

The lessons learned, friendships made and memories created will be your biggest take away from events like these!

When we travelled to Louisville KY to attend the NAILE and tour some herds, we also made a point of visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.

For those that know us well know that we are huge baseball enthusiasts (Yankee fans)! We spent several hours walking through the museum, watching how MLB bats are made, and we even got to take a few swings! In the locked “Bat Vault”, there was a table full of awards. The Silver Slugger Award Winners had just been announced and the awards were being handed out the week after our visit. We got to see first hand what the recipients would be receiving. Great timing!

Well worth the stop! Go Yankees! ⚾️
