From New Brunswick Canada, sorry for your loss Butterworks Farm. Had a few great phone calls with Jack and he was a huge reason for me building a bedded pack barn. Although I’m no longer in the dairy industry, he was a great mentor.

Pasture pork and beef for sale.
Pork by the side $3.50 a pound
Side includes
6-7 pounds smoked bacon
2 smoked hams 8-9lbs each
20 pounds pork chops
10 pounds pork burger
10 pounds pork steak
One pack of ribs
Pack of breakfast sausage links
Two roasts 5-6 pounds each
Sides should total around 75-80lbs
Option 2 100$ box with a smaller quantity and variety of the above. Box will total around 25lbs. (4$ a pound)
Option 3 purchase by the pound.
Pork chops, pork steaks, pork burger, ribs $4.25 a pound.
Smoked bacon and ham 7$ a pound
Sausages made to order 6$ a pound.
Currently have a small supply of breakfast sausage links and German flavour dinner sausage.
BEEF BURGER 4$ a pound. Lean and tasty, healthy

Yesterday's news was "made hay in May", got some really good drying weather this week. Got the equipment out for a trial run. Made some small square bales. Quality tested with calves this morning. Will have some for sale for any horse owners who have run out. Hoping for a big summer.

Our farm would like to thank everyone for such a huge turnout today for open farm day. We have determined that we hosted around 1000 guests at the farm today. A little bit surreal. HUGE CROWD!!! We hope everyone enjoyed the day and learned a little bit about how your food is made and the effort that is put into it. Thanks for making it worth it!

It's open farm day in New Brunswick on SUNDAY Sept 17 2017. Green Acres Farm will be open from 12:30pm - 5pm on Sunday. Fun for all ages. Come learn how your milk is produced, ask questions, meet the animals: Jersey cows and baby calves, pigs and brand new piglets, baby chicks and turkeys. We will also have some Agropur products available for you to try for free. Come out 12:30pm-4:30pm Green Acres Farm is open! It's open farm day! We have a dairy herd, some pigs and some 3 day old chicks. Bring the family it's free free free. We also have Northumberland chocolate milk to hand out and iogo yogurt tubes. We also will be serving ice cream...while quantities last. Rain or shine! Come out and learn where your food comes from and what it takes from your farmers to produce it.

First snow on a late seeding of oats under seeded with a alfalfa mix. Never cut oats due to not wanting to hurt alfalfa for next year
